VA Remaining Eligibility Calculator — Hawaii 2026
Estimate remaining VA $0-down capacity when entitlement is reduced. Honolulu County’s 2026 single-family conforming limit is $1,249,125. Educational tool by Jay Miller, NMLS #657301. Not a commitment to lend.
How remaining entitlement works
With full entitlement, there is no VA loan limit for a $0-down purchase; how much you can borrow depends on your income, debts, residual income, and lender approval. With reduced entitlement (for example, a prior VA loan whose entitlement has not been restored), county conforming limits apply.
Remaining entitlement is estimated as 25% of the county conforming limit minus your VA entitlement in use (based on the original loan amount of any VA loan not yet restored; your Certificate of Eligibility shows the exact figure). Your $0-down capacity is about four times the remaining entitlement. If the purchase price exceeds that capacity, a 25% down payment applies on the difference only.
